Many organizations encounter friction, yet they often choose to ignore it. Many are unaware of the friction that holds them back from progressing. Friction is fundamental to all movement, but when it intensifies, it leads to stagnation. The interaction between employees and their organization often creates friction, preventing employees from completing their daily tasks. Many workers spend a great deal of time and energy trying to bypass points of difficulty and areas where friction occurs, thus prolonging the path to fulfilling the purpose for which they joined the organization.

My guest in this episode addressed this challenge by first diagnosing it in various organizations. His company helps organizations understand their points of friction and offers real-time solutions. In our conversation, I wanted to know from him what friction in an organization is, why CEOs are often unaware of it, and how the problem can be solved.
